One of the best parts about being a foster dog parent is hearing about how the dog is doing in their new home. As foster parents we do get attached to each dog that comes to live with us, whether it's for a few days or for a few months each of them mean something to us.
We often get asked "Isn't not hard to give up a dog after you've cared for it?" The answer is yes but we always try and remember where the dog would have been if we had not gotten involved... And seeing dogs with their adoptive families is great! Getting dogs adopted allows for us to rescue the next one. Each dog has a unique story and there is always a dog that is in need.
If you have a story you'd like to share send us an e-mail and we'll post it. If you're interested in helping a dog in need remember we are always looking for "Foster Failures".
